The Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Manish Gupta paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for the Interior and National Security, Muntaka Mubarak, marking an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
This visit was aimed at deepening diplomatic relations and exploring new areas of business between the two countries.
The Honourable minister, Mubarak Muntaka, also thanked Mr Manish Gupta for his visit and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to strengthening ties between the two countries.
The Minister also urged the High Commissioner to provide training programmes for the Ministry and its Agencies and technology transfer and economic cooperation with a focus on mutual benefit.
Hon. Muntaka also highlighted the long-standing relationship between Ghana and India. He also noted that the large Indian community in Ghana has consistently demonstrated law-abiding behaviour and harmonious coexistence with the local population.
Both officials stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to strengthen mutual interests and improve the well-being of their respective citizens.
