The Black Stars of Ghana flew to Johannesburg, South Africa on Tuesday afternoon at 12:30 PM for Ghana’s game against Ethiopia at the Orlando Stadium on Thursday.
A 24-man contingent will be leaving Accra to Johannesburg in a bid to snatch a vital three points in South Africa against Ethiopia.
The game which was originally scheduled to be played in Addis Ababa but had a change of venue due to the standard of the Bahir Dar Stadium which do not meet the FIFA and CAF level.
The Ethiopian Football Federation had early on proposed the Nyayo National Stadium in Kenya but had to choose the Orlando Stadium for financial sake.
Ghana will be battling for all maximum points to brighten their chances of making it to the next phase of the World Cup Qualifier.
Black Stars return to Ghana to take on South Africa on Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the last game of the group phases of the qualifier.
