The Ashanti Regional capital Kuamsi has experienced two successive nights of heavy rains. Areas in the city submerged by the flood, included Anloga Junction,Aboabo, Dagomba Line, Asabi, Santasi Kokoben, Buokrom, KNUST and Airport Roundabout. The newly built Kejetia Market also experienced its second flood with thousands of Ghana cedi worth of items destroyed.
