Member of the AshantiGold SC Technical team, Nasir Lamine has admitted the defeat against King Faisal was very painful but vows to beat Hearts of Oak this weekend to rediscover their form.
The Miners have had a shaky start in the ongoing season after three matches having won against Eleven Wonders in Techiman and drew to Karela United at home in week two.
However, they also slipped to a 2-0 defeat against rejuvenated King Faisal over the weekend which even resulted into the jettisoning of their head coach Ernest Thompson Quartey.
As a member of their coaching staff, Nasir Lamin has disclosed with so much optimism that, they are going to humble the champions at all cost come Sunday assuring and urging their supporters to come in numbers to rally behind the team. He told Kumasi-based Haske Radio;
“Our defeat against King Faisal was a painful one but we hope to identify our weakness and return to winning ways as soon as possible.”
“We have to beat Hearts in our next game to make our fans happy. We will never allow them to beat in Obuasi come Sunday. It won’t happen.”
The Miners will welcome the champions, Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Len Clay Stadium in epic week four clash of the ongoing season.
